Stecyk is one of a very special group of artists where every work we see, we wish we could have. He elaborates on our Pacific Rim culture, the mass movements of tectonic plates, and of the wetland mallards, and skateboarding kids. There is always a new layer of meaning each time one looks at Stecyk's work. In this work, the human migration tells that only the most capable will reach the promised land, all the while we are shipping back our most toxic pollutants.
